The main window.
On the left you have your folder hierarchy, on the right the tasks in the current view. Select a folder
on the left and see its tasks on the right. You can also select more than one folder (using CTRL-click)
and see just the tasks that are in all the selected folders.
Tabs on top let you quickly apply a due date filter. You can choose to see all tasks, just the ones due
today, just the ones due tomorrow or all tasks due in the next 7 days.
The task window (quick entry).
After a while you will be entering tasks very quickly using just one line of text. This screenshot shows
a simple example with a short task description, a due date and time, a reminder and two attached
folders.
The text input field supports speedy text entry with intelligent auto completion support.
The task window (standard entry).
Alternatively you can also use the task standard entry mode, where each field has its own input box. This
might be easier at first. Again, you have auto completion in all fields allowing for very quick data
entry.
The task window also shows you how to use the quick entry input, if you want.
The folder window.
Up to now folders just have a name and an icon. Later on there will be more settings (e.g. certain
default values for new tasks created in these folders).
Assigning a second folder by mouse (CTRL-drag).
lis.to allows you to put a task into several folders at once. The task won't be copied, it will just live
in several folders at the same time. This allows for powerful organisation options, if you like.
If you decide to not use multi-foldering there is nothing that gets in your way.
